about
Where’d My Happy Go is my first truly solo song. It was written, composed, recorded, and mastered by me while working on the film, “Those We Leave Behind.” The film is about the thoughts of a lonely person who feels they have nothing left to live for. This song is my take on that mindset.
lyrics
I know what it's like to be lonely in a crowd
I know what it's like to be talking out loud
Only to find out, that nobody's listening
I know what it's like to be lonely in a crowd
I know what it's like to do everything wrong
I can relate to, most every sad song
I guess that it’s just that, part of my conditioning
I know what it's like to do everything wrong
So tell me, “Where’d my happy go?”
Tell me, “Where’d my happy go?”
There's only one thing that I really want to know
Tell me, “Where’d my happy go?”
I know what it's like to wanna pound a wall
I know what it's like to feel infinitesimally small
I know what it's like to simmer in my silence
I know what it's like to wanna punch a wall (wanna punch, wanna punch)
Tell me, “Where’d my happy go?”
Tell me, “Where’d my happy go?”
There's only one thing that I really want to know
Tell me, “Where’d my happy go?”
Selfish or not I know why it's done
With a bottle of pills, and a bottle of rum
It seems that more and more, I'm walking on the edge
Selfish or not I know why it's done
So tell me, “Where’d my happy go?”
Tell me, “Where’d my happy go?”
There's only one thing that I really want to know
Tell me, “Where’d my happy go?”
With a bottle of pills and a bottle of rum
Tell me, “Where’d my happy go?”
Tell me, “Where’d my happy go?”
Selfish or not, I know why it's done
So tell me, “Where’d my happy go?”
Someone tell me, “Where’d my happy go?”

Audio has been a constant in my life. From listening to my favorite bands as a kid to recording my own music to this day,
music has been there for me. In 2012, I had an opportunity to branch out from music background to get involved with the sound of the film world. Since then, I have divided my time between the two domains....more
